My Story

I'm Scott McKenzie, a lifelong entrepreneur who kickstarted my business journey with a simple lemonade stand. From there, I've ventured into various businesses including creating custom greeting cards featuring my photography and flipping cars for profit. My knack for business was evident when I turned a $2,000 profit selling refreshments from a scooter and upgraded my car significantly within a year by savvy buying and selling.
My leadership skills shone when I climbed the ranks at Starbucks, and my inventive spirit came to life as I developed a postcard kiosk machine, securing a patent with the help of a mentor. This tenacity carried over into founding Golden Age Companions, a result of my personal experience and passion for caring for the elderly, borne from the time I spent with my grandmother in her final years.
I've meticulously built Golden Age Companions, ensuring the caregivers we hire are thoroughly vetted for the safety and well-being of our clients. As an entrepreneur with an eye on continuous growth, I'm now aiming for an MBA to further my ventures, all while enjoying life with my Mini Aussiedoodle, Mila, and maintaining a spiritually and physically healthy lifestyle that includes muscle testing and meditation. I'm committed to turning businesses into passive income streams that not only support me financially but also allow me to contribute positively to the world.
